DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

Alleviates pain and tightness in the muscles, restoring function and balance by targeting specific areas of built up tensions and fascial adhesions using trigger point and deep tissue techniques. Ideal for chronic or ongoing pain, focusing primarily on areas of concern to address the root cause effectively. Techniques involve deep firm pressure to release tight tissues, knots and restoring length back into the shortened muscles. While the pressure can feel intense, it should create a relieving “feel good” type of pain as the myofascia releases.
A quick physical assessment will be performed to help identify the source of your issue, contributing factors, and how the resulting symptoms have presented. The assessment will assist in tailoring the treatment for your specific needs.
Benefits:

Promotes ‘proper’ body movement & posture; blood and lymphatic circulation; flow of endorphins and hormones; mood; sleep; breathing mechanics
